Priority Express Post orders received before 12noon AEDT are shipped the same day. Express orders placed on a weekend or a public holiday will also be sent on the next business day.
Postage and handling for the 'Protect the Potential' FREE Newborn Legionnaire - White - 37cm (XXS) is $10.95. Our free 'Protect the Potential' newborn hats are not available for International shipping. The free 'Protect the Potential' newborn hat cannot be purchased with other items and is shipped separately.
As we are a small business, there may be some delays during and following our sale/promotional events due to the high volume of orders received (we are so grateful - thank you!). We promise we are working extra hard to ensure your order is shipped ASAP.
You will receive a confirmation email from Bedhead Hats to confirm that your order has been placed. Once we dispatch your order, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from Bedhead Hats with tracking information. If you don’t receive an email, please check your junk, bulk or promotions mailboxes. If you still can’t find it, it’s possible we have an incorrect email address for you. Please email us at contactus@bedheadhats.com.au with your order number (NET-XXXXXX) to check the status of your order.
Regular Shipping
Australia Post Eparcel offers 3-10 day delivery. Regular Post orders are dispatched as soon as possible (THERE ARE DELAYS DURING SALE EVENTS AND PROMOTIONAL PERIODS). We are located on the NSW Central Coast, 2265. Parcels to Sydney Metro usually take 2-3 days & to other Eastern seaboard capital cities usually take 3-5 days. Parcels to WA take at least 5-7 working days to trek across the Nullabor. These estimations are general & based on our experience using Australia Post.

Express Shipping
Australia Post 'Express Post' Eparcel offers 1-3 days delivery (limited areas). Currently, Australia Post maintains that Express Post remains their fastest postal service, but their next-business-day delivery is not guaranteed for all areas. Check service areas here.
We are located on the NSW Central Coast - 2265. From experience, we have not always found this service to be a truly overnight service - hence we quote 1-3 days to avoid customer disappointment (or late running parcels needed for gifts or holidays!) We cannot guarantee how fast Australia post will delivery an Express Post orders.
Please note: Bedhead Hats is not responsible for any delays caused by Australia Post, especially during high-volume seasons. Please note that all delivery times are estimated. Bedhead Hats is not guaranteeing delivery dates.
Bedhead Hats is not liable for missing parcels due any errors on the customer or Australia Post’s part.
Shipping Insurance
We highly recommend that you add Shipping Insurance to your order to protect against loss, theft or damage to your goods within 30 days of purchase. Much care is taken to package and ship your parcel, however, in the unlikely event that the courier (domestic) has confirmed that your parcel was damaged or lost in transit, we will do our best to assist you in getting the most favourable outcome where possible. Replacement items will be sent out via regular post to the original address.
Unfortunately, if the order was not purchased with Shipping Insurance, we are not liable to replace or refund the order. The courier is responsible for the safe delivery of your parcel. In most cases, if the customer reaches out to the courier, the courier will compensate you directly.

Please note that all delivery times to NEW ZEALAND are estimated between 10-22 days. For all other countries, you can visit the Australia Post website to see current estimates for delivery times to your country.
For orders delivered outside Australia, parcels are dispatched using Australia Post. Once the parcel arrives in the destination country, it is transferred to the local postal authority for final delivery. Please note that tracking may not be available once the parcel leaves Australia, and Bedhead Hats is not responsible for any loss or delays that may occur during this part of the delivery process.
Delivery times for international orders typically range between 15 to 21 business days from the date of dispatch. These timeframes are estimates only and do not include any potential delays caused by customs clearance, inspections, or other procedures carried out by local authorities. Bedhead Hats cannot guarantee delivery times and accepts no responsibility for delays that are beyond our control.
Note: When ordering from countries outside of Australia, duty and taxes may be payable by you depending on the rules governed by the country you are importing to.
Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import fees that may be charged by the destination country’s customs or postal services. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping fees charged by Bedhead Hats. If such fees are not paid and the parcel is returned to us, any associated return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund that may be issued.
It is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of and comply with any local import regulations or restrictions in their country. Bedhead Hats is not liable for any issues arising from customs procedures or the customer’s failure to comply with local laws and regulations.
Items may be held longer than usual by Australian and overseas customs authorities.
Taxes & Duties
Please note taxes and duties may be charged for international orders. All applicable customs and import duties and fees, taxes and any other charges are the responsibility of the customer, even if you refuse the shipment upon delivery. If your order does require these additional charges, they must be paid by you in order for your package to clear customs.
Customs authorities require by law that we state the value of your order directly on the package. Customs agents have the right to release or deny release of your package and, in rare cases, they may also delay delivery.
If you refuse to pay any additional fees, your package will be sent back to us and you will be refunded the cost of your order minus any extra shipping charges incurred by us from the shipping company.
Currency Conversions**
All prices listed on our site are charged to your credit/debit card in Australian dollars. The bank that has issued your card determines the exact exchange rate that you will be charged, but, in general, it should match closely with the current rate.
