WHICH LINEN SUN HAT STYLE IS BEST FOR MY CHILD?
- Seeker Bonnet: A soft, traditional bonnet that frames little faces. Best suited to babies and children from 0–3 years, especially for prams and carriers.
- Searcher Ruffle Bonnet: A soft bonnet with a ruffle-trimmed brim. A lovely option for babies and toddlers from 0–3 years.
- Lounger Flap Hat: Soft neck flap with an upright brim for coverage around the face, ears and neck. A practical choice for babies and toddlers from 0–3 years, including little hat-haters.
- Roamer Teddy Flap Hat: The same practical flap-hat fit as the Lounger, finished with playful teddy ears.
- Wanderer Panelled Bucket Hat: A panelled bucket style with a deeper crown for outdoor play. Available for children from around 6 months to 13 years.
- Explorer Classic Bucket Hat: A classic bucket shape with a tapered crown and stitched brim. Made for everyday adventures from around 6 months to 13 years.

Size Advice & Brim Depth
One fact you can be sure of - no two heads are the same! Always measure your child's head before purchasing.
Here's a quick guide:

Distract the child with a toy or food (so they don't try and help you!)

Use a soft measuring tape or a ribbon (then a ruler) to measure the child's head

Choose the hat size with the smallest measurement in the range closest to your child's head measurement. Our Flap & Bucket Hats have adjustable ties in the crown to get the perfect fit to your child’s head size with a 4cm range in each hat. By choosing the smallest size of the range, you will get the most wear out of it.
For example: If your child’s head measures 51cm, you will want the 50-54cm hat to ensure plenty of future wear. If your child’s head is measuring 53cm, it’s best to go to the 54-58cm as you can pull in the ties to make the hat size 54cm.

Returns & Exchanges
We understand that sometimes everything seems to go wrong.
Don't stress - we accept returns of new unworn items with tags still attached for the exchange of a different size/style or refund if required. You must contact us within 30 days of purchase to organise a return.
TO RETURN: Please notify us by email to request a return - contactus@bedheadhats.com.au. Remember to include details of the product you wish to exchange and the replacement you want. You will be given delivery details to post back the item (at your cost).
Store credits are not available. Exchanges and returns are permitted on SALE or discounted items, but conditions do apply. View full returns policy here.
Sale items priced $20 or less are considered Clearance items and cannot be returned for a refund or exchange due to change of mind, size, colour or print. This is in compliance with Australian Consumer Law and the ACCC.
