These sweet flower fairies are a fun activity for little ones (and big ones!) - particularly with all those fallen leaves at the moment!

Rug up, head outside and go for a walk with your little ones - a basket is a must have to collect all their little bits and bobs! Leaves, flowers, unusual pods or grasses, bark, seeds - whatever they fancy! Pop them all in the basket and head home again to get creative!

Print out our flower fairy templates - they can be coloured in too if you want extra colour!

Pull apart your leaves, flower petals and insides, pods and other items and lay them out on the table so you can see what you have. What works best? Bigger autumn leaves might make wings all by themselves, or two smaller ones might also work. Flower petals or leaves make great skirts and the tiniest of leaves on a lavender stalk make a cute bodice! Bits of bark would work well for shorts and even bigger leaves or petals of colour could be cut into shape for a shirt.

Glue in place and admire your creation!
