MAKE: Tiger masks

MAKE: Tiger masks

A ROARsome idea for next time you're stuck at home! Get that printer to work, whip our the pencils, watercolours and textas and get the kids to make some tiger masks. Then send them off to make up a play about tigery things and the promise they will practice for AT LEAST an hour and then perform for you.

Download a few various tiger masks from here and print on cardstock. We used some watercolours, textas and some rose gold leaf to make it extra fancy, but you can really do it anyway - pencils, feathers, felt, textas, paints, collage - however your little creatives hearts desire!

For gold leaf, paint glue on the areas you want shimmery, press in the gold leaf and leave to dry. Use a dry brush to brush off the excess.

Add some ribbon or elastic to the sides and let them be fearsome little big cats for the afternoon.

Love all things tigers? Check out our gorgeous Tiger print hat, part of our new Autumn/Winter collection.
